Human began working with the label, run by DJ and producer Dubfire, when creative director Nick Bax launched the studio in 2007. Since then the studio has created the artwork for every release as well as advertising, promotion for events and animations.
To celebrate this long-standing collaboration and to coincide with Barcelona’s Sonar festival, Sci+Tec and Human will be launching an exhibition featuring the artwork that has defined the distinctive look of the label.Rather than a white-washed gallery space with album artwork on the walls, visitors can expect an immersive digital-led space complete with six huge LED screens and an audio-visual projection. Bax laughs, ‘We like the fact that if there’s a power cut we wouldn’t have a show.’
